1教学目标 Knowledge:

1.认读、理解单词amazing, another, attend, disappear, fair, power, rocket, surprised, teach; 短语all the way, learn about, of course, remote control; 认识单词launch,photography, solar等

2. Learn about different kinds of club activities at Rosie Bridge school and the simple past tense. Skill:

1.Predict the topic and the basic idea of the article by reading the title and picture.

2. Have a deep understanding of the article by scanning and skimming.

初一X班学习基础较好,但有个别基础特别薄弱。学生在前面6各单元的学习已经掌握了一些阅读技巧和能力,因此在设计的时候一方面要面向全体学生,把握整体的阅读技能的培养与提升;另一方面也要考虑大部分学生的拔尖需求。因此设计了后面的report环节。但此环节也是根据一步步给予提示关键词和关键句型,降低难度。最后鼓励学生上台做完整的report 汇报。

活动1【导入】Step 1：Braintorming

T shows pictures of several Ss,let Ss talk about their hobbies by using the sentence pattern learned in the last period: If…will\\can …and learn about the news words of this unit by PPT.Ss are active and interested in the topic.

活动2【讲授】Step 2：Pre－reading

1.T asks Ss what to do first before reading,and Ss find the answers by watching the PPt: Title and Pict ures.

2. Ss find out the main idea of the article according to the title and pictures : School Life.
