Be 动词的一般过去时态.

在没有 实义动词的句子中使用be动词， am is的过去式为was; are的过去式为were.

构成： 肯定句： 主语+was (were) + 表语 如：I was late yesterday. （昨天我迟到了。） 否定句：主语+was (were) +not+表语

如：We weren't late yesterday. （我们昨天没有迟到）

【注意】：当句中含有 系动词was，were时，可直接在其后加not构成否定句。 一般疑问句：Was (Were) + 主语+ 表语

特殊疑问句：特殊 疑问词+was (were) +主语+表语

实义动词的一般过去时态 肯定句要使用动词的过去式， 否定句和疑问句要使用 助动词do和does 的过去式did.

否定句：主语+didn't + 动词原形+宾语 Many people didn’t like music.

疑问句：Did +主语+动词原形+宾语 Did many people like music?

助动词和情态动词

助动词和 情态动词 过去式如下：

shall―should（将要）用于第一人称单数 will―would（将要）用于所有人称

can—could（能，会） may―might（可以） must―must （必须） have to―had to（不得不）

助动词和情态动词的过去 时态要使用他们的过去式，后面的动词还使用原形。 如：I had to do my homework yesterday. （昨天我不得不做作业。） 3. 动词过去式变化规则

一般情况：+ed 例：work—— worked look——looked

以不发音e结尾：+d 例：live——lived hope——hoped like——liked 以辅音字母+y结尾：变y为i+ed 例：study—— studied carry——carried

以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母：双写最后的辅音字母+ed 例：stop—— stopped plan——planned

特殊情况：不规则 例：am/is——was do/does——did

4. 规则动词发音

规则动词词尾加-ed有三种读音：

在清辅音后读作[t]。如：asked, helped, watched, stopped

在浊辅音、其他辅音和元音后读作[d]。如：enjoyed, studied, moved, called 在t / d后读作[id]。如：wanted, needed

5. 感叹句

What引导感叹句，what修饰名词或名词短语, 句子结构可分为以下三种： What + a/an ＋形容词＋可数名词单数＋主语＋谓语！ 例：What a clever girl she is !

What ＋形容词＋可数名词复数＋主语＋谓语！ 例：What beautiful flowers they are!

What ＋形容词＋不可数名词＋主语＋谓语！ 例：What nice music it is!

How引导感叹句，修饰形容词或副词： How ＋形容词 / 副词＋主语＋谓语！ How kind you are !

How hard he is working! How clever the boy is!
