The aircraft will be used for sightseeing and short-distance passenger and cargo transportation between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It will be the first time Chinese-made civil aircraft have entered a developed country, a landmark in the history of civil aircraft development in China.

China and the US will grant visas valid for up to a decade to visitors between the two countries, announced US President Barack Obama at the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit, xinhuanet.com reported. Under the new visa rules, set to take effect on Wednesday, student visas will be valid for 5 years, while business and tourist visas will be valid for 10 years. Visas between the two countries were previously valid for only one year. As a result of the new policy, the US could gain as many as 440,000 jobs by 2021 and receive an $85b annual infusion into its economy, the White House said.
