2 My Family

Everyone has a family. We live in it and feel very warm. There are three persons in my family, my mother, father and I. We live together very happily and there are many interesting stories about my family.

My father is a hard-working man. He works as a doctor. He always tries his best to help every patient and make patients

comfortable. But sometimes he works so hard that he can't remember the date.

My mother is a woman with a bad memory. She always does a lot of housework, but sometimes she makes mistakes out of carelessness. For example, one day, she washed clothes in the washer, after the washer finished the work, she found she hadn't filled the washer with water.

5 My summer holiday

I like the summer holiday so much. I look forward to summer holiday every year. Last summer, I went to Shen zhen for my holiday, which is also a city of seashore like Haikou. I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the afternoon. The sky is blue, the air is fresh. Wherever you go, You can always see the green trees, the neat grasses and the colorful flowers. They were really wonderful. Shen Zhen has a lot of tall buildings. And it is a modern city.

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favorite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.

If you ask me what my favorite summer holiday will be like, traveling around the only answer. I hope that one day I could meet different people and visit different places of interest.

There are many kinds of movies, like action movie, documentary, romance, comedy, cartoon and so on. I like watching movies very much.

Do you know the movie Titanic? That is one of my favorite movies. It's a love story about Jack and Rose. They met on a ship called Titanic, and then they fell into love immediately .On the night of April 15, 1912, the Titanic had an accident on the way to America. Jack and Rose fell into the sea with many other people .They were very frightened because they were afraid of losing each other. In the end, Rose was saved, but Jack died. Rose was very sad.

7 A trip to Beijing

Last year, I visited Beijing. I always looked forward to visiting there. So I was so excited that I couldn’t fall asleep on the night before I started. I got up early and packed my backpack for the journey. In my pack, I put a camera, some clothes, a mobile phone and so on. It took me 35 hours to go there by train. I visited some interesting places in Beijing, such as the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs and so on. They are very beautiful, and of course I took many nice photos. I enjoyed myself. I felt tired but excited because I have learned a lot about the history of the city. As soon as I arrived home, I phoned my classmates and told them about that exciting trip.

8 Weather affects all of us in one way or another, directly or indirectly. For example, good weather makes people happy. Bad weather makes

people sick and depressed. Besides, on a fine day, one can go out for a walk or play a game in the open. On a rainy day, however, he can only stay indoors, in a word, weather is part of life for all of us.

The first thing that many people do after getting up is to see what the weather is like. With a knowledge of the weather people can arrange work and life of the day.
