Module10 Spring Festival

Unit1 Are you getting ready for spring festival? 一、学习目标: 知识目标:

1. Can understand the conversation in the text book and master the key words: Spring Festival, cleaning the house, cooking the meal, getting ready for, learning a dragon dance, making lanterns, sweeping the floor.

2. Can ask and answer something using present continue tense:

I am doing……

She is d oing….. Is she d oing…… What be sb doing? 能力目标:

1.能用所学的目标语言简单谈论别人正在做的事情:

My mother /father/ is doing…She is doing … Is he doing… 2.能在预习的基础上听懂对话中的目标语言:

Spring Festival, clean the house, cook the meal, learn a dragon dance, make lanterns, sweep the floor

情感目标:Can enjoy our traditional festival and love our country more.

二、学习重点、难点:

1. 重点: Vocabulary—cleaning the house, making lanterns , sweeping the floor, cooking the meal , learning a dragon dance

2. 难点: Structures--- What is LingLing doing? She’s getting ready for the Spring Festival.

三、教具:Tape recorder, video, multimedia ,blackboard 四、教学步骤:

1.Lead-in:(竞赛说春节习俗,3分钟)

通过竞赛的形式在课堂一开始就能够抓住学生的注意力,且视频相关春节的内容不仅能唤起同学们学习的兴趣,让学生体味那浓浓的春节传统风味,还直接导入到本课与春节相关的主题上,并加强了学生的听力训练。

T: Good morning, class. S: Good morning teacher!

T: I am very happy to see you! I am your new teacher, and today we are going to take up a new lesson. To begin with, I want you to have a competition. Ok?

S: Ok!

T: Very good! Now, I’d like to divide you into two groups, the

boys ’group and the girls’ group. Ok? S: Yes.

T: Here, who gets the star first will be the winner, are you ready for the competition?

S: Yes.

T: And my question is what you have seen in the video. Now, let’s watch

the video.

(After watching the video)(视频长度1分15秒)

T:OK,Now our competition begins! If you know the answer just stand up and say. What have you seen in the video?

T: If you don’t know how to say that in English and you can say in Chinese, just stand up and tell me what you have seen.

T: Pretty good. And what did the video talk about? S: Spring festival.

2.导入到课堂主题后以访问学生的形式来回顾春节活动,并直接过渡到学习课文内容。(1分钟)

T: Yes,Spring Festival. Do you like spring festival? S: Yes.

T: Oh, everyone said yes, and what will you do in spring festival? Who can tell me what will you do in the spring festival? You, please.

S1: Watch TV.

T: Yes, watch TV, well! Anything else? The boy,please. S2: Clean the house.

T: Oh, very good. Anyone else? The girl,please. S3: Shopping.

T: Yes, thank you and sit down please. Well, we will do many activities in the spring festival. Am I right?

S: Yes.

3.图文配对。图文配对是课文第一部分内容,由学生自行完成该内容,属于检测学生预习成果。(2分钟)

T: Now look at these pictures and match the pictures with the expressions.1 minute.

T: OK, time’s up. Let me check your answer. I will ask 5 students, who would like to have a try?

S1: Picture 1 is B. S2: Picture 2 is A.

T: Ok, picture 2 is A, any different opinion? S3:Picture2 is D.

T: Yes, D, very good. And picture3? S4: Picture 3 is C.

T: Very good! And the last picture. The whole class. Ss: Picture 4is E

T: OK, big hands! You are so excellent! Now read after me. Making

lanterns, learning a dragon dance, cleaning the house, sweeping the floor, cooking the meal.

4.学生总结语法规律。在完成连线后由学生自己根据课文给出短语,并在老师提示下总结出现在进行时的规律,发散学生思维,更能强化学生记忆。(2分钟)

T: Pretty good! Do you know why these verbs have “ING”. Just tell me your idea? Why? You can say in Chinese, just have a try.

S:表示正在发生的动作所以用ING。

T:Yes,everyone gives him a big hand.这位同学说的非常好,表示正在发生的动作,动词就用“ING”形式,表示的是现在进行时。

5.听课文并回答问题。这一训练可以帮助学生练习听力并且能够熟悉现在进行时。(4分钟)

T:Ok,very good. Now, the Spring Festival is coming. People are getting ready for it. There is a dialogue between LingLing and Tony and

Betty. Listen to the tape and answer my question. T: Ok, now I will check your answers. Have you finished? S:Yes.

T:Who would like to tell me the answer? No.1. S1:B.

T: Yes, B. please read out the answer. S1: Learning a dragon dance.

T: Very good, sit down please. Anyone else? Oh, please.

S2:D.Cleaning the house.

T: Very good, thank you.NO.3, who would like to have a try? S3:B.Sweeping the floor. ……

6.学生根据所给出的对话及提示自己编对话练习。这不仅可以让学生用现在进行时对话,还可以检测学生对现在进行时的掌握情况。(2分钟)

T: Very good. now,Let’s play a game. Look at the screen, have you got it?

S: Yes.

T: Ok, let’s begin.

T:Ok, stop here. Everyone has done a good job, big hand to all of you. And who want to show me your conversation.

S: (acting their conversation)

7.总结本课内容和知识点。帮助学生再次回顾本课所学知识内容,加深记忆。(2分钟)

T:OK,you are so active. Here are the main sentences and clauses, now please read them, cleaning the house, one, two, begin.

S:(the whole class read the main point) 8.布置作业和道别。(1分钟)

T: Very good! Here is your homework, try your best to finish it, ok?

S: Ok.

T: Now class is over, here are some lucky gifts for you, thank you for your listening, see you.

S: See you.

(所有的环节加起来一共是17分钟,在没有学生的情况下各环节的时间可以相应缩减一些,15分钟应该是可以的,请老师再帮忙看看有什么环节是冗余的可以不要或者修改,麻烦啦)
