摘要：Sintered silicon nitride ceramics excellent in sliding properties have the a-phasesilicon nitride and the β-phase silicon nitride admixed therein, and the proportion in whichthe a-phase silicon nitride is present in the sintered silicon nitride ceramics is controlledto be in the range of 5 to 15%. The sintered silicon nitride ceramics of this invention aresuitable for heat-resistant parts such as heat-resistant bearings which are required tohave high abrasion resistance.
