Can My Voice Be Your Gift？

I love singing songs. Our English teacher， Ms. Yi says my voice is just like a bird’s. Today our first lesson was English. Some students sent flowers to her， some students sent colorful cards to her， and some students sent some pictures to her. But I had nothing because I didn’t know today was her birthday.

“What can I do？ I really want to send her a gift. If I know today is her birthday， I will draw a beautiful picture for her， but time can not go back，” I said to myself. Our classmates looked at me. My face was turning red.

“Can my voice be your gift？” I said to Ms. Yi， “Can I sing an English song for you as a birthday gift？”

After I finished singing a song， I saw my English teacher smiling at me with tears in her eyes. All of my classmates began to clap their hands.

“This is the best gift I’ve ever received. You really touched my heart. Thank you very much！” said Ms. Yi.
