摘要：An in-cell touch panel LCD module (100) and a method for driving the same areprovided. The module includes a common electrode layer (140) including first and secondcommon electrodes (141, 142). The time period of a frame of the LCD module (100) isdivided into a display time period and a touch control time period by a control circuit. Adisplay signal is applied to the common electrode layer during the display time periodfor a normal LCD display. First and second touch control signals are applied to the firstand second common electrodes (141, 142), respectively, during the touch control timeperiod, so that the electric potential of the first common electrode (141) equals to thatof the driving line (131) and the electric potential of the second common electrode (142)equals to that of the sensing line (132). Since at least part of the driving line (131)overlaps with the first common electrode (141) and at least part of the sensing line (132)overlaps with the second common electrode (142), capacitors are formed by the firstcommon electrode (141) and the driving line (131) and by the second common electrode(142) and the sensing line (132), and the electric potentials of the two plates of each of

the two capacitors are the same, thus at least part of the noise generated by the LCDscreen may be shielded, and signal-to-noise ratio of the touch panel may be improved.
