Aferritic stainless steel having a chemical composition consisting of, by mass%, C: 0.003% ormore and 0.015% or less, Si: 0.05% or more and 0.30% or less, Mn: 0.10% or more and0.35% or less, P: 0.06% or less, S: 0.02% or less, Cr: 17.0% or more and 19.0% or less, Ni:more than 0.10% and 0.30% or less, Ti: 0.10% or more and 0.40% or less, Nb: 0.005% ormore and less than 0.050%, Mo: less than 0.20%, N: 0.005% or more and 0.015% or less,Cu: 0.30% or more and 0.50% or less, Mg: less than 0.0005% and the balance being Fe andinevitable impurities.
