摘要：This invention concerns a computer-implemented method for estimatingdiversity in a sample, which can apply to any sample, and in particular to a sample whomspecies distribution is unknown. The method of the invention comprises steps essentiallyinvolving two components, (a) a migration of a sample comprising molecules on a surfacearea, whereby molecules migrate on a surface area according to their nucleotide oraminoacid sequence and (b) method steps for the diversity measurement, which arepreferably performed through the working of one or several computer program(s).
