Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody until it is given away. Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give.

微笑，不花分文，却收效可观。得到的人，会因此更加富足；给予的人，却不会因此贫穷。微笑转瞬即逝，而留下的记忆，有时却能永存。

不论谁多么富裕，也不论谁多么贫困，生活中却不不了微笑；富人也好，穷人也好，都因为有了微笑而变得更加富有。

微笑给家庭带来幸福，在生意上增进信誉，是朋友之间的默契。微笑使疲倦得到休息，使沮丧者见到光明。微笑是悲伤者的阳光，是解除烦恼的天然妙方。

可是，微笑买不到，讨不来，借不到，也偷不来。因为在给予别人之前，微笑对任何人都毫无用处，那些不再有微笑给予别人的人，才比任何人更需要得到微笑。
