摘要： Apparatus (15) for the longitudinal pleating a sheet (10) in motion. The

apparatus (15) is characterized by a roller curved pin (40) having a fixed axis circumscribedby a rotatable sleeve having a plurality of splines (44) oriented toward the circumferenceof the rotary sleeve. The plies are produced by the penetration of the sheet (10) in thegrooves (44) of the rotary sleeve. Preferably, an additional curved axis roll (60) havingrods which intersect with the grooves of the first roll is used concurrently with the firstroller to curved pin (40). The apparatus (15) has preferably a third roller to curve axis (30)disposed upstream of the first roller curved pin (40) for substantially equalizing thepassing trajectories of any point of the moving sheet ( 10) compensating for differencesin the paths passing between the edges (12) and the center line of the sheet. Theapparatus may further comprise two straight axis rolls (20, 50) arranged next to thecurved axis rolls and arranged so that the passage paths of the two edges (12) of thesheet (10) and the line median of the sheet through the apparatus and from the first rollto right axis to the second straight axis roll is substantially equal.
