摘要：© A fastening assembly for use in attaching articles to soft materials such asgypsum based and light weight concrete roofing includes an anchoring element (13)

which has a high thread (32) and an axial bore (31) in one end. The thread (32) preferablyhas an included angle of less than 45° and terminates in a sharp edge (38) at its leadingend. In use a headed screw (12) is driven into the bore (31 ) and becomes fixed to theanchoring element (13). A flange (14) is preferably integrally moulded and frangiblyconnected to the one end of the anchoring element (13), and forms a washer when itbreaks away from it.
