摘要：In the method for partially restoring a sewer (12) buried in the ground, a fibremat (19) which covers the damaged zone of the sewer (12) on the inside and is

impregnated with curable resin is placed around a hose-shaped support (6) of a packer,which support can be deformed by means of pressure. The external diameter of thesupport (6) is considerably smaller than the diameter of the sewer to be restored. Thelength of the support is larger than the wound fibre mat. The resin-impregnated fibremat layer which is located facing the hose-shaped support (6) is fixed on the hose-shapedsupport by increased frictional engagement. During the increase in the diameter of thefibre mat winding, which is carried out by inflating the hose-shaped support, the hose-shaped support is rotated with the fibre mat winding, and the fibre mat layers arepressed against one another during the enlargement of the diameter of the winding. Theresin which is displaced in consequence is then pressed into cracks (10) and into otherdamaged points in the tubular section of the sewer which is to be restored. A fibre-freeresin ring is formed on the ends of the cladding.
