My View on Online Shopping
With the rapid development of science and technology, an increasing number of online shopping malls and E-shops have sprung up in our life, such as Taobao, Dangdang, Jingdong etc. Nowadays, more and more people enjoy conducting the shopping activities online and on wonder the volume of trade reached to 35.019 billion yuan on 11th, November.
Different people, however, have different views on online shopping. Some of them approval of it. They believe that shopping on the internet is more convenient, time-saving and cheaper than the goods in the local stores. While others argue that this kind of new way of purchasing have some negative aspects. They think they just look at the pictures instead of touching, smelling, or tasting the goods, so they aren’t absolutely certain about their quality.
As far as I am concerned, I agree with the former one. On the one hand, I don't like going window-shopping because the shop keepers are always persuasive and I am likely to be taken in. On the other hand, the after-sales service on the internet is much better than the local stores. We just need to spend a little money in buying a freight insurance and we won’t lose anything if we ask for the return service. But every coin has two sides. Online shopping also has shortcomings. For example, we can’t receive the goods we ordered immediately especially in some rural areas. In short, I think, the advantages of the online shopping outweigh its disadvantages and I firmly believe that it will become more and more popular in the near future.
