I take several courses at school. We have English (Chinese, Physics…) every (other )day. I’m interested in /am fond of / am into / fall for science subjects, which includes….I like/love Chemistry best and enjoy working out / solving /dealing with problems of it.
I plan / intend to major in Physics and feel like becoming / would like to become a physicist. So in class I put my heart into / bury myself in / concentrate on / am absorbed in / focus my attention on / am lost in / settle down to / devote all my time to what the teachers teach. By working / studying hard it’s possible for me to acquire / obtain knowledge学习知识
In order to raise/increase test scores/marks/grades / get on well with my study/ improve myself in …we should get into /form /develop a good habit of review / good study habits. I am good at / do well in / am skilled in / am experienced in / am talented in / am gifted in / have a good command of(精通、擅长) / have a talent/gift for science subjects. What trouble me is that I am poor at / am weak in arts subjects, in particular English. I don’t have a good memory of English words. Although I learn words by heart, I still fail in it. Every time I am tired of / am bored with / am sick of English, my teacher always gives me encouragement and gives advice on how to study English well so that I can lay a good/solid foundation in language study. With my teacher’s help it’s pleasant / Under my teacher’s instuction/guidance I’ve made much/great progress in English and eventually pass the examination./ get a passing grade /get 90 marks for (English) / get an “A” in the exam.
Besides, I take part in the English club, which runs English language courses at three levels （开办三个不同层次的英语学习课程）. So it satisfies / meets / suits the needs / damands of different levels of students. In order to arouse / raise the students’ interest the teachers adopt different teaching methods , which makes their lessons lively and interesting. Meanwhile, we take every opportunity to apply what we learn in books to practice so as to improve our oral skills. Everyone’s devotion to learning English creates a good learning atmosphere.This is the reason why all of us fall in love with English.
The college entrance examination is approaching. I am busy with / am occupied with / am engaged in review. Every day I correct the homework. carefully and prepare for the next day. Only by making enough preparations for / getting well prepared for the exam can I take / attend / go in for the exam with a relaxed feeling and have the best record in class. There is a bright / promising future before us. We should spare no efforts / do what we can / do all we can to live up to parents’ and teachers’ hope / expectation. I believe with the joint efforts of both teachers and students there is no doubt that we will overcome the difficulty and succeed in the college entrance examination / realize my ambition .
