Is money equal to success? Okay, let’s assume that the answer is yes. Yet why do so many people who possess large sums of money consider they are not successful?
The key point is that what the meaning of success is. It seems difficult to define success. But it does exist in our lives.
Balzac, a famous writer, who was in debt all his life, wrote many novels that made him immortal in the world’s literature. Madame Curie, a famous scientist, who needed other’s help in daily life, won the Nobel prizes in physics and chemistry. Marx, a well known philosopher, who could not afford to buy a stamp, brought huge changes to the world. Though they didn’t have money, they possess success. So we can see success is not determined by money.
Let us take another example. An unqualified doctor always asks his patients for money, but fails to cure their disease. It is true he can have lots of money in temporary. However, once what he did is disclosed, he will lose everything he possesses. Can we just say he makes a short success? The answer is absolutely not.
Through these examples, we can reach a conclusion that the assumption is totally wrong. Money is not equal to success.
Success is based on spirit rather than material. The amount of money can determine your living arrangements, levels of stress, and many other
things. But it will never be equal to success. If it is not the case, everyone can dream of success by buying lottery.
