摘要：A porous structure is provided between a forming member and an underlyingsupport structure so as to facilitate the drainage of liquid through the porous memberwhen a web is supported on the porous member and columnar streams of liquid aredirected at the web to form apertures in the web. The porous structure can include aplurality of spaced-apart, wire-like elements, a metal screen, thermoplastic netting,mesh, webbing, and the like. An improved apertured web made with the improvedprocess employing such a porous structure has little or no lining or marking and hasrelatively few, if any, poorly formed apertures.
