摘要：A method and apparatus for measuring the electrical resistance of acarbonaceous electrode. The apparatus includes a plurality of current carrying andvoltage measuring probes for electrically contacting a surface of the electrode over abroad area. A second current carrying means is placed in electrical contact with theelectrode at a location spaced from the surface contacted by the probes, and a voltagesource is connected between the second current carrying means and the probes to applya potential across the electrode and thereby direct current through the electrode.Current flows through the electrode along a plurality of paths between the currentcarrying means and the plurality of probes. The amount of current flow in each path, andthe voltage drop across the electrode are measured to determine the electrical
resistance of the electrode between the location on the surface contacted by the currentcarrying means and the electrode surface contacted by the probes.
