Theoutputisshort-circuitproofwithinternalthermallimiting.Thepackageoutlineisstandarddual-in-line.Acopperleadframeisusedwiththecenterthreepinsoneithersidecom-prisingaheatsink.Thismakesthedeviceeasytouseinstandardp-clayout.
