摘要：The invention relates to an occupant-protection device for a vehicle, comprisingan airbag unit (14) consisting of an airbag retainer (10) and a folded inflatable airbag (12)and a vehicle internal component, consisting of a dimensionally stable support part (18)and a trim panel (24) that can be split open when the airbag (12) is triggered. The invention is characterised in that the airbag retainer (10)comprises a supporting cover (28), which spans a housing section (26) of the support part(18) and that the supporting cover (28) is covered on the trim panel side by an outer layer() of the airbag (12).
