Step1. 了解面试中朗读的要求 一、朗读的考情分析
朗读短文主要考察学生的语音语调,短文理解和口语表达能力。历年试题中朗读的短文字数在70~110左右,题材较广,问题为4个左右。
朗读时,同学们应注意语速适中,不要过快,以至于单词发音不清楚,也不要过慢。连贯地朗读,语音清晰,语调优美,充满情感。回答问题时,先思考一下,不要急于给出答案。
分析历年朗读材料考题,可以发现,对于人物或事物的议论在面试题中占有稳定的席位。无论阅读材料怎么变,所出的问题总有那么一道需要同学们表达自己的观点。从考官的角度来看,这类题目一来可以看出学生是否读懂材料,是对英语水平的检测;二来通过具体的回答内容可以考查到学生的逻辑思维和语言组织能力以及一些价值判断,一举两得。 二、朗读短文失分点
1、单词读音不标准。
2、没有掌握连读等技巧,朗读不流畅。
3、语调平淡,把文章读得没有高低起伏,没有抑扬顿挫,没有情感。 4、语速过快或过慢。
6、一听完问题,没有想好,就马上作答,以致于思绪混乱,回答的乱七八糟。 7、表达自己观点时,句式单一,且内容冗长、啰嗦。 Step2:朗读短文备考建议
小升初的英语口语面试,考的是临场的应变能力和反应速度。我们可以从以下几个方面来加强平时的训练,冲刺高分。
一、语音语调要正确
大部分学生在朗读文章时,单词的发音都很正确,基本不成问题。但是在语调方面把握得好就不容易了,不少同学把文章读得如同凉白开一样平淡,没有高低起伏,没有抑扬顿挫,没有情感浸润,而这些正是朗读部分考查的重要标准。
要想有所提高,最好的办法是跟着录音走,一个句子里哪里要重读或是升调,哪里要轻读或是降调,听录音找差距,然后尽量地模仿,在朗读时适当地加上一些感情色彩,如高兴、悲伤、快乐、忧愁等情感变化,相信一定会给面试官留下深刻的印象。
二、语速要适中
文章的内容其实很简单,所以不少同学就不知不觉地提高了语速,忽略了句子之间以及段落之间的停顿,顾不上理解文章,最终导致在下一部分时回答不上问题。因此,同学们一定要注意:适当放缓语速,注意句子和段落之间的停顿,这不仅在朗读上显得有松有紧,而且更重要的是能够加强对文章的理解,以免在回答问题环节丢分。另外还有一个好处,就是能够多扫几眼后面跟着的单词,比如在读“The earliest……”这个句子时,要留意到“the”的发音要改变,但是如果读得太快,则可能忽略这一点,口语模拟时就有同学中招了。
三、万一遇到„新单词‟不会读该怎么办?
读文章时如果碰到了不会读的新单词,这个时候千万不要慌张,可以停下来向考官询问,“Sorry, I don‟t know how to read this word.”保证自己口语面试全过程的纯英文表达,这也是向面试官展示自己认真专注的另一面,一般考官都会告诉你这个单词的发音,毕竟这不是在考你的词汇量,碰到不认识的单词很正常,你所要做的就是把会读的部分读好就足够了。
四、回答问题要简洁
在读完文章后,回答问题应该尽量简洁、准确、肯定。在充足的时间内,可以用简单的长句来回答,即“主语+谓语+宾语”结构,反之则可以用短语来简洁回答,针对相应的when, what, where, how, why部分,准确定位,给出正确答案。

2.亮点开头句:外国人在很多比较正式的场合都会来一句“感谢…给我这个机会在此…”同样,在面试过程中,如果同学们能在打完招呼之后紧接一句“It's my honorto be here to introduce myself.”是给自己很加分的。因为这不仅符合外国人的表达习惯,也会显得学生很有礼貌,增加老师对你的好感。
3.中英文名字:每个人说自己的名字当然是得心应手,从而导致在这一部分很多学生讲的很快,甚至说的含糊不清。但要知道,老师是第一次听你的名字。所以建议大家在说名字的时候稍微放慢语速,表达清楚。对于一些名字比较特别或者有特殊含义的小朋友,可以这一部分多说一些。
比如我叫方睿,我会说:“My Chinese name is FangRui. My mother gave me this name because Rui stands for smart, and she hopes meto be clever. My

4.报考原因:一定要说明为什么要报考该校。这一点不要泛泛而谈说我喜欢这个学校之类的。
比如可以说“I‟ve heard thatthis school is very good at English teaching and I like English very much. Ihope I can improve my English at this school.”之类的。 5.兴趣爱好:也可以讲讲一些特长,比如篮球,舞蹈,乐器。当然这里也不是说一句话“I‟m good at dancing”就完了,若参加过一些比赛拿过一些名次最好就讲出来,或者参加过什么演出,进过校队之类的。让你的特长更有说服力。
如:面试过程中有同学说自己很喜欢足球,最喜欢的足球明星是梅西,然后聊了一些关于梅西的东西。这不仅可以表现出该学生除了学习之余德智体也有全面的发展,这些真实具体的内容也会让老师对该学生印象深刻。而干巴巴的几句“I like English, I like dancing”则会稍显英语功力和口头表达能力不行。
6、家庭,性格,习惯:谈论家庭的内容主要是家庭人员数,家庭成员等,性格和习惯的内容最重要的一点就是贴近真实,让老师更了解你。注意一些不太好的习惯,比如很爱打游戏,不爱做作业的,学生们尽量不要谈及。
7. 结尾:最后结尾加上一句“That‟s all about me. Thank you for your listening.”让你的礼貌有头有尾。有些同学就是在说完了然后直接停顿,老师就不知道是你说完了呢还是你忘词了。所以这个时候说一个如上句的结语很重要。

老美都是怎么形容天气很好的呢? 通常他们会用beautiful, nice 或是 lovely 来形容. 其中我最常听到的就是, \"It's a beautiful/nice/lovely day.\" 反之如果是天气很糟下大雨呢? 你可以用 \"It's nasty.\" 来形容.
但是有时候也可以用反讽的. 有一次外头下著倾盆大雨, 我和一个美国同学又正好没带伞. 结果她居然说, \"How lovely.\" (天气可真是好啊.) 当时我还正经八百地问她是否天气很差可以用 lovely 来形容, 后来我才知道原来她只不过是在讲反话, 害我有点受骗的感觉.

Rain cats and dogs 是一句非常受欢迎的俚语啦, 几乎每个在美国的外籍学生都懂得用 rain cats and dogs 来形容雨下得很大. 当然如果你不想用俚语的, 你可以单说, \"It's raining reallyhard.\" (雨下得很大) 或是, \"We're having a heavyrain.\" 同样也是雨下得很大.
那雨下得很大, 我被淋成了「落汤鸡」这整句话要怎么讲? 落汤鸡在英文里只能用\"I am soaked.\" (我湿透了) 来形容, 所以整句话就成为. \"It's raining catsand dogs out there so I am soaked.\"
4. Wehad a downpour. 我们刚遇到了一场倾盆大雨.
中文里常形容下雨像是用「倒」的一样, 这在英文里也有同样对等的字眼喔! 英文里用的是downpour 这个字. 形容下雨像是用倒的一样 (pour 单独解就是倒水的意思). 所以下雨像是用倒的我们可以说, \"We had adownpour.\"
另外有一个十分口语的, \"It's really coming down out there.\" 也是形容雨下得很大, 像是用「倒」的一样.
