摘要：A wireless-based communications system is provided with a method andapparatus for automatic verification of the identity of a mobile phone user in order toeliminate cellular piracy. A first embodiment implements a memory-based verificationand a second embodiment implements an algorithm-based verification to reducememory space requirements. The call is allowed when verification passes and isdisallowed when verification fails.
