摘要：The present invention relates to a fuel supply device for supplying fuel to aninternal combustion engine, wherein said device comprises an electric fuel pump (2) whichis supplied by an electric circuit (20) and which is used for conveying the fuel from a fueltank (1) to a fuel accumulator (3). This device also includes a control device (16) whichopens the electric circuit (20) of the electric fuel pump (2) when the fuel accumulator (3) isfull and which closes said circuit when the fuel accumulator (3) is empty. In such fuelsupply systems, the amount of fuel in the fuel accumulator can be measured, forexample, using an expensive and failure-subject level indicator. The purpose of thisinvention is to provide a fuel supply system which can be manufactured at low cost andoperates without any malfunction. To this end, the control device (16) calculates theincreasing outflow of the fuel accumulator (3) from the fuel consumption of the internalcombustion engine, and actuates the electric fuel pump (2) when the fuel level in the fuelaccumulator (3) reaches a predetermined set point.
