摘要：[Problem] To provide a blast furnace operation method and a lance making itpossible to improve cooling power, improve the combustion quality of pulverized coalblown in from a tuyere, and reduce the unit consumption of the reducing agent.

[Solution] A blast furnace operation method in which a solid reducing agent, a flammablegaseous reducing agent, and a combustion-sustaining gas are blown from a tuyere intothe furnace through a lance, wherein: a parallel-type lance in which three independentblowing tubes are bundled in parallel and integrated with an outer tube is used; thegaseous reducing agent and/or the combustion-sustaining gas, and the solid reducingagent, are simultaneously blown in through the respective blowing tubes; and theblowing-in from the parallel-type lance is performed in an orientation in which the solidreducing agent blowing tube and the gaseous reducing agent blowing tube arepositioned above the combustion-sustaining gas blowing tube.
