摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the staining of a conveying means by anexcess solvent by coating a solvent for image forming only on the part where a heatdevelopable photosensitive material and image receiving material overlap, therebyexecuting transfer. CONSTITUTION:A water tank 66 in water coating part 34 for coatingwater which is the solvent for image forming on image receiving paper 32 is fixed torotating arm 60 and is so constituted as to be moved to a coating position and to aretreat position turned backward therefrom by a revolving shaft 58 and a motor . Themotor runs to bring the tank to the coating position when the image receiving paper32 is fed to the water coating part 34 in the stage of transfer. The water is coated on thepaper by felt 74 and thereafter the water tank is moved to the retreat position. Thecoating length L in the longitudinal direction is controlled to the length at which theimage receiving paper and the photosensitive material overlap. The sticking of theunnecessary excess water to a roller, etc., is thus obviated and the generation of thestaining of the conveying means is prevented.
