Do you prefer a package tour or an independent tour? Why?

It’s less troublesome and concerned comparing with the independent tour, because the travel agency makes enough preparations for you. I don’t think they are an easy job for you to accomplish. If you take on a package tour, you’ll enjoy the trip without such troubles and tiring.

It can ensure your trip goes smoothly. For instance, it’s likely for you to miss the bus when you set off on the first day. And it doesn’t happen regularly in a package tour. In addition, it’s possible that you’re unfamiliar with the city you’re traveling. The agency can play the role of an experienced guide and save your time in getting lost. Also you can enjoy lower price of souvenirs in a group shopping. Last but not least, security is a rather important point to consider. We’ll take out an insurance policy when we’re on our package tour.

Moreover, in many cases people are safer because they are traveling with a large group of people under the help of the tourist guide.

For so many items list above, travelling with a tour agency is a good way to enjoy relaxation and happiness. It’s my choice. Will it be yours?

Package tour and independent tour are different in many ways. In the cost, independent tour maybe a little less expensive. There is also a difference in the freedom you can hold, which is in favor of independent tour. You can decide the time beginning and end, and choose those sights you are interested in, whereas in a package tour, you will visit what the group will visit, buy something the agent want you to buy.

As far as I am concerned, I prefer the independent tour. I enjoy making friends along the route, which, I believe, is indispensable to traveling. The communication with people from faraway places and different backgrounds can always sharpen the minds. Furthermore, the difficulties I have met and will meet will never fail to be the sweetest memories-after so many years of traveling. I finally realize that difficulties build character.

Disadvantage:

Independent tour, unexpected difficulties may arise from time to time.

Conclusion:

Both the independent tour and the package tour have their own advantage and disadvantage. We should base on own favorite to choose different ways to tour.
