仅供参考,谨慎对待。 是否与子女住一起

I think it is better that senior citizen live with their children than stay in nursing home. The reasons are as follows:1、The senior will not feel lonely when they live with their children. Because they have more chances to communicate with the youngsters and have less worry about them ;2、In addition, the senior can help the youngsters take care of their grandson or granddaughter and do some other housework. Thus, it will not only reduce the burden of economy but also benefit to the senior's healthy. In conclusion,........ Pension

nowadays , peolple are discussing the pension system of china. Generally, there are mainly two different pension systems in china now. First, the government officials enjoy a high pension after retirement, and other people's pensions are much less.

It is unfair for this phenomenon. To eliminate the gap between the two systems, the Chinese government should improve the ordinary people's pension level and slow down the pace of official pension's raising speed to get the balance gradually. 还可以加上更多的,i think, it seems , it looks like, so , then.顺便把语速转折一下。

或者,还可以变。 nowadays, the topic of pension system has become the major concern by the media and public.

people are questioning the social unfair in the two pension systems.还可以再加,in regarding with this topic, generally, there are two different pension systems, let us discuss them as following.

let us look at the government officials pension system first.

as we know, govenerment officials do not contribute to the pension system when

8

they work, but they could have a large amount of pension after retirement. While ordinary workers pay a lot of money to the pension system when they work, and get much less than the government officials.

I think ,in an harmonious society, the pension system should be reformed or adjusted to meet the justice.

one-child policy

Nowadays, it is believed that the Chinese government should ease the one-child policy and allow couples to have a second child if they want to. I agree with this point of view and the reasons are as follows.

Firstly, one-child policy does harm to the growing up of the one-child. There is only one child in a family and the child doesn’t have any siblings n. 兄弟姊妹;民族成员

who can play with them, and they are always lonely. As a result, the one-child spends a lot of time playing computer games or watching TV and their eyes are getting more and more nearsighted. Worse still, they would have a bad personality because they are spoiled.

What’s more, the population decreased greatly after one-child policy was implemented in the late 1970’s, which resulted in a shortage of labor force. It is very difficult for the factories to get the employees.

Lastly, too small a population in the labor force can’t create an amount of wealth. They can’t afford earning enough pensioners for the old-age population.

To sum up, I am of the opinion that the government should slacken the grip on population increase and allow couples to have a second child if they want to.

计算机能否替代人

This is an old question but it is still a good question today. Computers have powerful memrory. They are also excellent at computing. These advantage functions let computers replace people in many fields. Computers calculate better, make less mistakes and can keep doing something without having a rest. Computers can even be much smarter than mankinds. The power of computers have once brought substantial fear among people at the beginning. But people found out soon that computers can do nothing without softwares, which are programmed and mastered by programmers. The power of the computers is actually from the power of human beings. That is to say, computers are not able to replace human beings in every fields.

9

Computer replaced human brain

Nowadays the computer plays an increasingly important role in our work and life. It seems that we can do anything with a computer: writing articles, drawing pictures, listening to music, playing games, and so on. Therefore, it is often assumed that the computer is a great deal superior to the human brain. But in fact, the human brain can beat the computer in many ways, especially in the complexity of structure, the flexibility of memory, and the creativity of thinking. First of all, the human brain is far more complex than the computer. Small as it is, the human brain “contains about ten billion neurons and a hundred billion smaller cells,” which are interconnected in a vastly complicated network that even the most advanced computers cannot rival, for the computer is make up of only a certain number of chips and components. Although scientists have tried to make computers that can function exactly like the human brain, no one has ever succeeded, for the complex human brain is beyond any human ability to duplicate.

Secondly, the human brain also surpasses the computer in the flexibility of memory. Although the computer is much better in accuracy and liability than the human brain, for it can remember any date without making mistakes so long as the program works well, it can only work along a linear preset path, and will be at a loss when something unexpected happens. Besides, no matter how well it remembers, it can only memorize things input by human beings. And once the data are deleted, it can remember nothing at all. In contrast, the memory of the human brain is multi-dimensional, and can deal with information flexibly. It is like an ever-flowing fountain, full of changes and possibilities, and will never go dry, while the computer is just like a warehouse, the capacity of which is limited.

Thirdly, the computer cannot rival the human brain in creativity. Human beings can write great symphonies, or conceive scientific theories. It is said that computers can do translations, but up to now, none of the translation software is able to translate a simple sentence as faithfully and smoothly as human beings do, not to say a complicated article. Although the computer can do some “creative” to some degree, such as playing chess, it can do so only when it is thus programmed. Computers can never surpass the human brain in creativity.

The speed of the computer is tremendously faster than that of the human brain, but it is created by the human brain, and only such a brilliant organism as the human brain can achieve such a brilliant speed. The computer can never surpass the human brain in many ways. It is only a tool made by human beings to serve themselves. The control of the computer is in the hands of human beings.

计算机游戏对小孩发展的好处和坏处

Since we are entering the so called information age, I argue that it is impossible to prevent our kid from the computers. Actually, I think computer games are still games. Kids do always love games. Therefore it is not wise to keep them from computer games. Some scientific research show that computer games improve the players' intelligence. But on the other side, when kids play the computer games, they play with machines, not the other human beings! It might hinder their development of social relationship. Moreover ,it does harm to their physical and mental

10

health once kids indulge in the computer games. So, the kids should be allowed to play computer games. At the time, It is important for the parents to restrict the game time their children play on the computer.

电脑游戏的坏处

Whether you like it or not, computer games have become a part of our life, especially of the children’s life. Most parents including me believe that playing computer games has far more disadvantages than advantages.

First, computer games do harm to children’s health. If the children spend too much time in playing computer game, their eyes may become nearsighted. And they don’t want to play outside or do exercise, then they will have health problem.

Second, computer games will have a negative effect on the studies of the children. It is easy for them to be addicted to computer games. If it is the case, the children may not want to study anymore. They can’t concentrate on the lectures given by teachers even back to school.

Lastly, some bad computer games such as killing people will result in the tendency of violence. Children may have terrible personality and may hurt other children around them. To sum up, I am of the opinion that computer games are disadvantageous.

How to narrow the gulf between the rich and poor in China?

In china, there are big gaps between urban and rural areas, with the ratio of In china, there are big gaps between urban and rural areas, with the ratio of the incomes of urban and rural residents standing at 3:1. How to shorten the income gap between urban and rural areas.

Firstly, the rural areas should be industrialized. With the basic accomplishment of industrialization in 20 years, the proportion of rural laborers will drop from the present 50 percent to 30 percent.

Secondly, government should support the development of underdeveloped areas, promote the urbanization process, and promote coordinated development of different regions.

Thirdly, government should put more money on education and allocate education resources reasonably and strengthen the education in rural areas.

Whether the city is big or not is now less important for young people who are looking for chances for better life. Why? The world has been changed by Internet! 然后说on-line business取代实体经济

REUTERS/Dylan Martinez

Since 1979, China has maintained a population control program known as the \"one-child policy,\" in most cases limiting families living in urban areas to only one child.

The country just completed a once-in-a-decade leadership transition earlier this year, though, and the new management is eager to show its reform-minded stripes amid a slowdown in the Chinese economy.

As a result, the \"one-child policy\" may be set to become a \"two-child policy\" fairly soon. \"According to the 21st Business Herald which cited sources close to the National Population and Family Planning Commission, China may significantly relax its one-child policy at end-2013 or early-2014 by allowing families to have two children if at least one parent is from a one-child family,\" writes BofA Merrill Lynch economist Ting Lu in a note to clients. \"A plan for allowing all families to have two children after 2015 is also being reviewed. We believe the news to be reliable and is in line with our view.\"

Deutsche Bank economist Jun Ma says a transition to a \"two-child policy\" would be something of a long-term stimulus package.

\"As tens of millions of sibling-less people in China are now entering their child-bearing age, we expect this policy shift would induce the fourth baby boom of the country,\" writes Jun in a note. \"This projected baby boom, although in smaller scale than the previous three, would reverse the declining trend of newborn babies since 1990s and would eventually help mitigate the negative impact of aging population on economic growth and financial sustainability of the pension system.\"

BofA's Ting calculates around 10 million new babies as a result of the proposed policy shift: If the 21st Business Herald news is confirmed, the demographic reform path (which we called “piecemeal path” in our earlier report) is more conservative than our baseline “middle

path”, which is defined as allowing all families to have two children without any restrictions. So is this a big disappointment? Not really. This is because the one child policy now is only strictly enforced in urban areas and some developed rural areas where most couples of child-bearing age have at least one singleton (note China’s one-child policy started in the late 1970s). According to the 2005 population survey, singletons account for 29.3% of Chinese aged 30 or under (the generation affected by the one-child policy). The ratio should be significantly higher in urban areas. Assuming 60% of people of child bearing age in urban areas are singletons, on top of the 36% families which are already allowed to have two children, we estimate 48% of urban families of child bearing age could benefit from the coming reform. Using census data, there are 79mn women of child bearing age (23 to 42) this year. 48% of 79mn is 38mn.

Assuming 25% of them choose to have a second child, about 9.5mn babies would be born as a result of this reform to one-child policy.

12

\"We believe that the reform-minded president Xi and premier Li will use the opportunity of abolishing the one-child policy to build up their authority, show their determination in making changes and convince the Chinese people that they do have a roadmap for reforms,\" says Ting.
