Mike：It’s too bad! I failed my English test again. I really want to give up! Jim： Oh，I am sorry to hear that! But English is very important for our future
career. You shouldn’t lose confidence.
Mike：But how can I learn it well? It’s too difficult! What’s your idea? Jim： First, interest is the best teacher. So you should develop your interest in
English. Second, practice makes perfect. You have to practice as much as possible.
Mike：Practice? How?
Jim： Read, speak and listen to English as much as you can. And you can
watch English TV programs when you have time.
Mike：Will it help?
Jim： Yes, but you have to try your best.
